About the Authors
At the University of Notre Dame in the United States’ Mendoza College of Business, Dean A. Shepherd holds the Ray and Milann Siegfried Professor of Entrepreneurship. His work is highly regarded in the discipline, having been published in 19 books and more than 130 scholarly journal articles. At the Technical University of Munich in Germany, Holger Patzelt holds the Chair in Entrepreneurship in the School of Management. His research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurial cognition and the psychological effects of company failure. Their combined knowledge provides a well-rounded analysis of the psyche of an entrepreneur.
