It evokes the spirit of Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, as both works explore the dynamics of team performance and leadership. The Art of Sustainable Performance is akin to opening a window to fresh air in a stuffy room, offering a revitalising perspective on how human resources can be humanised through thoughtful recruitment practices.

Bas Kodden serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the Executive MBA program at Nyenrode Business University in The Netherlands. His research focuses on leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Kodden spent nearly his entire professional life as an entrepreneur, equipping him with a practical understanding of the dynamics that drive successful teams and organisations.
